US ECONOMIC DATA RELEASED – PPI AND JOBLESS CLAIMS
US PPI YoY came in at 3.5%, above the forecast of 3.3%.
US PPI MoM rose by 0.4%, surpassing the forecast of 0.3%.
US Core PPI MoM increased by 0.3%, in line with expectations.
US Core PPI YoY reached 3.6%, higher than the forecast of 3.3%.
US Initial Jobless Claims were 213K, better than the forecast of 215.5K.
US Continued Jobless Claims were 1.85M, below the forecast of 1.8815M.
US Short-term interest-rate futures remain little changed, with the Fed expected to wait until September to cut policy rates.
