JAPAN DECEMBER CURRENT ACCOUNT DATA MISSES EXPECTATIONS
Japan’s December current account showed a surplus of ¥1,077 billion, below the expected ¥1,362 billion.
The previous current account surplus was ¥3,352.5 billion.
Bank lending in Japan for January rose 3.0% year-on-year, slightly down from 3.1% previously.
