EUROZONE JANUARY CPI ABOVE EXPECTATIONS, CORE CPI REMAINS STABLE
Eurozone January preliminary CPI rose 2.5% YoY, slightly above the 2.4% expected.
Core CPI increased 2.7% YoY, matching the previous month and above the expected 2.6%.
The headline CPI accelerated in part due to rising energy prices.
The core CPI remained unchanged from December, indicating stable underlying inflation.
The disinflation process seems to have stalled, but it hasn't been derailed, at least for now.
