Eurozone December current account balance reached €50.5 billion, up from €34.6 billion prior.
Seasonally adjusted figure for December is €38.4 billion.
Cumulative 2024 total for the current account stands at €419 billion, up from €241 billion in 2023.
The increase is attributed to the normalization of trade conditions post-Russia-Ukraine conflict.
